I was instructed to
create a band poster using different shots to give me an insight on how to take
my photos for my own music magazine. I used my photography skills to create a
band poster of a rock genre. Firstly, the image was taken from a low shot to
make it more interesting as it gives the image depth perception. The band
members were all positioned in one line and the shot was taken from below so
that the space in front is shown and can be used to insert the text (band name)
during post production. The image has been edited in Adobe Photoshop during
post production. I used the software to add effects of black and white colour
as this matched the dark genre of rock. Constant colours have been used, like
grey, black and white, which makes the image look simple as well as
professional.
